Jonathan Ehrenberg

Jonathan Ehrenberg (b. 1975) lives and works in New York, NY. He received a BA from Brown University, and an MFA from Yale. Ehrenberg's work explores how we experience reality as a construct, a seemingly coherent world we piece together from sensory information and images we see internally—memories, fantasies, and associations.

His work has been included in exhibitions at MoMA PS1, Sculpture Center, Nicelle Beauchene Gallery (New York), LAXART (Los Angeles), David Castillo (Miami), Futura Center (Prague), and Galeria Espacio Minimo (Madrid). Ehrenberg has participated in residencies at LMCC Workspace, Harvestworks, Islip, Skowhegan, Triangle, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and Glenfiddich in Scotland. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Art in America. Ehrenberg is currently teaching at Lehman College/CUNY.
