Gallery’s artist Merike Estna is nominated for this years Konrad Mägi Prize alongside Raoul Kurvitz, Laura Põld ja Tõnis Saadoja. The prize worth 3200 euros is awarded by the Estonian Artists’ Association, Estonian Painters’ Union and Estonian Cultural Endowment’s foundation for visual and applied arts. Since 1979, the prize has been awarded to important Estonian artists, including Temnikova & Kasela represented artists Kaido Ole and Jaan Toomik. The prize winner will be announced on the 27th of November. The jury consists of Mari Roosvalt and Jaan Elken Eesti (Painters’ Union), Anu Liivak and Maria Arusoo (Cultural Endowment), Vano Allsalu ja Elin Kard (Artists’ Association).
