The term “Evian desert” brings up an image of bottled water in a desert. The installation shows two empty bathrobes on a pile of sand – one standing and the other one collapsed. Lemsalu gives the following interpretation: “At a festival someone once asked me how I was doing. I didn’t want to give the usual empty answer, so I said, "I’m like a millionaire in the desert". Wealth and thirst hand-in-hand, with the feeling that anything is possible inside.”
