"Routinecrusher, Wanderlust, Tablebear, ect" posits questions regarding the notions of standard, function and disfuncionality. Designed to be photographed, these installations, or machines, are made from everyday objects with a distinct function. Dismissing the logic of usability associated with these objects, the works expose the inner processes that drive them. Non-funcionality means looking from a distance. Excessive conviction hinders movement and creates deadlocks. A map used to enhance movement should be compiled so that it could be deconstructed, overturned or substituted.
