Inga Meldere & Oscar Santillan

The new exhibition will inaugurate the new project space opened by Temnikova & Kasela in collaboration with 1Galerii on Rüütli 4 in Tallinn's Old Town. Inga Meldere will be showing a series of watercolours, delicate works on paper that draw their influences from Eastern drawing and Western fairy-tales alike, highlighting the ambiguity and importance of collective context in relation to personal memory. Santillan, who has been working on a film with Meldere in the lead role, will show his video work. The artists met during the Jan Van Eyck postgraduate program, which both of them are currently attending.
