Kris Lemsalu takes part in the group exhibition ‘On the Absurd Drama That Is Also Life,’ at Moderna Museet Malmö.

Exhibition dates: October 26, 2024 - February 23, 2025.

‘On the Absurd Drama That Is Also Life’ brings together artists who explore the absurd, farcical, and theatrical elements of life. The exhibition highlights works that challenge logic and reflect on contemporary society, creating a space where subtle resistance meets a quest for freedom.

At the vernissage on October 25, Kris Lemsalu, together with Johanna Ulfsak, Gregor Kulla, and Jason Mason, presented a special performance ‘Old Piano’ in collaboration with IASPIS, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee’s International Programme for Visual and Applied Arts.

Kris is currently an artist-in-residence at IASPIS Malmö from September 30 to December 31, 2024.
