On the festive occasion of Estonia joining the map of countries with marriage equality in January 2024, we are excited to announce our collaboration with artist Jaanus Samma. Together, we have produced a limited edition collection of hoodies and socks featuring motifs borrowed from Jaanus Samma's recent artworks. These artworks were inspired by traditional historic Estonian wedding rugs, which he queered to activate viewers' imagination towards possible pasts.
By purchasing a hoodie or a pair of socks from this collection, you not only get a stylish and meaningful piece of clothing but also reinforce love, acceptance, and equality. Join us in celebrating this historic moment and show your support for marriage equality in Estonia. You can buy the collection from the Temnikova & Kasela Gallery.
The socks are made in Lithuania by a sustainable brand Ukai, which recovered plastic bottles for production. The hoodies are from Stanley & Stella sustainable brand, made in the Netherlands from organic cotton and recycled polyester.
